The village of Muniarpur is 18 km from Thanesar. Today if we have to reach village Muniarpur then Kurukshetra, this village is located at a distance of 18 km from the landway. Guru Sahib resides in the village of Muniarpur. The sangat are stopped here but due to lack of water supply, some Sikhs untied horses and camels. At the same time a village called Dudi falls. There was a well. There was plenty of water. The water that came from the well was used for horses, camels, and anchors. Plenty of water was used but some arbitrary people did not like the water that we have to use.Horses and camels drink all this water. Some mischievous people together with the owner of the well mixed cow dung or mud in the clean water of the well so that the water would not be drinkable. When the Guru Sahib reached Muniarpur, the villagers realized their mistake. At the same time, when more water was sought, the village of Salempur was located 1.5-2 km from the nearby village of Dudi. A well was also found in Salempur village. Coming to this well, the Sikhs used water.Today Gurdwaras are adorned in all the three villages.

Gurdwara Sahib is adorned in Muniarpur. Here every masya feels like a fair. Here Guru’s langar is prepared by the sangat from the villages. We also had the opportunity to visit Gurdwara Dudi Sahib. He says, “Guru Teg Bahadur ji came here from Muniarpur in 1656 AD. He first set foot in Muniarpur. They had reached this village due to lack of water supply. There was a well in the village so the people of the village did not allow the horses and the sangat to drink water and mixed the dirt in the water due to which the sangat of Guru Sahib Ji was given water in Salempur. Guru Teg Bahadur Ji had said sehaj subhai here that your dudi will not be destroyed or settled. Most of the families lived here. Here the sangat come and serve. They also do one program a year. Now with boys in their families, the number of families is increasing “

When we asked about the well outside Dudi village, the villagers told us that there is a well outside the village but there is no well. There is a pipal tree. There is also a tomb. There is a pipal tree near the well which for some reason started to damage the well due to its roots growing. So the well had to be removed.
