In this series we will hear that Guru Teg Bahadur Ji reaches Dhamdham Sahib in the villages of Kanjhla, Bhainimaraj and Murowal, overcoming the problems of the people, where in the memory of Guru Sahib Ji beautiful Gurdwara Sahib is built
Continuing the series of histories today, we will talk about villages like Kanjhla, Bhainimaraj and Murowal. You are visiting Gurdwara Sahib in Kanjhla village. The feet of Guru Sahib are laid at this place. For the first time, Guru Nanak Sahib Ji came and planted Sikhi in this village. Later Guru Hargobind Sahib ji also came to this town. In the 4 wars that Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji fought, the Sikhs of this village also fought in support of Guru Sahib Ji. He took part in wars. Guru Teg Bahadur ji reached this village while visiting the villages of Malwa. At this place Guru Teg Bahadur ji treated some lepers with his own hands and he fixed them. Today, Kanjhle village is inhabited by the families of those who have recovered. Gurdwara Sahib is adorned here in memory of Guru Sahib. You are visiting this Gurdwara Sahib.
This is followed by Bhainimaraj village, 14 km away. Guru Teg Bahadur ji arrived in this Bhainimaraj village with his caravan which included 300 sangats, horses, camels, carts (oxen, bullocks) etc. When Guru Teg Bahadur ji arrived here, a horse fell ill. Stopping here because of the mare .He fell down and was given a calf by the horse. Guru Sahib Ji remained there till the horse became movable. After that they moved on. Until then, Guru Sahib stayed there and preached by holding Diwan. While connecting the people of the village with Naam Bani, sangat from far and wide also came and connected with Gurbani. Gurdwara Sahib of Guru Teg Bahadur ji is adorned on this spot in village Bhainimraj.
Next is the village of Murowal. According to Bhai Vir Singh Ji’s book ‘Iti Jin Kari’, Guru Sahib Ji visited this place in the afternoon arrived on time. Horses and Sikh sangat were thirsty for water. When the Sikhs went there and asked for water, they were told that the water in the well was brackish. The Guru Sahib waited there until water was brought from another place. When water was brought from another place, Guru Ji, finding a solution to this problem, dug the well deeper with the Maya of Dasvandh, which turned sweet water from salt water. When you reach this Murowal village, there are 2 Gurdwaras. Outside a village, Where it is said that Guru Gobind Sahib Ji came here but there is not enough evidence of history. Nevertheless, Gurdwara Sahib has been built outside the village in memory of Guru Gobind Singh. You are visiting this Gurdwara Sahib.
At this place, in the village of Murowal, Guru Tegh Bahadur ji dug a deep well and when he drew water, the water turned out to be sweet. Bhai Goinde Chaudhary from here joined Guru Sahib Ji and took part in the service. He adopted the teachings of Guru Sahib and Guru Sahib blessed his family with 7 turbans and Guru Ji appointed Bhai Nanu Ji as the preacher of Sikhism and proceeded to Dhamdham Sahib through several other villages.Guru Sahib’s caravan may have visited a number of villages in the Malwa region for the second time.
Budhlada is a town about 66 km from village Murowal. Gurdwara Sahib also stands here. You are visiting this Gurdwara Sahib. Guru Teg Bahadur ji also had his feet in Budhlada. The Sikhs here are called ‘Bhai ke’. He rendered great service to Guru Sahib. There is also a tradition that Guru Teg Bahadur ji came from Bareh village on this route. There is also a sarovar and a well. You are visiting Gurdwara Sahib of Ninth Patshahi Ji in this village.
The village of Sangreri is 17 km further. Gurdwara Manji Sahib is also adorned in the village of Sangreri. That old bed is also there. A small Gurdwara of 8’8 “is built in the memory of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. You are visiting this ancient Manji Sahib. There is also a big Gurdwara Sahib. Here we have the opportunity to meet the village management committee. There is not much history written here, so the research is still going on About here. 50 km further comes Gurdwara Dhamdham Sahib, where Guru Teg Bahadur ji visited for the second time.
