In Safar-e-Patshahi IX Series No. 83, we heard that Guru Teg Bahadur Ji goes to preach in Kattu, Kumbarwal, Suhiana and Handiaya villages, where Gurdwara Sahib is also decorated in Guru Sahib’s memory today
In this series we will hear that Guru Teg Bahadur Ji goes ahead to preach in the villages of Rudikekalan, Kailon, Dhilwan, Dulmeki etc., where Guru Sahib Ji Many wells were also installed to meet the water shortage
Today we will talk about the history of village Rudikekalan. When our team reached the village of Rudikekal, we asked many elders and veterans about the history and historical gurdwara there, but the elders there did not even know that there was any Gurdwara of Guru Teg Bahadur ji. We also made a separate video from there. When some of the veterans were asked, they found out that there was a Gurdwara inside the village. We reached that Gurdwara Sahib. Gurdwara Sahib’s porch is also built. It is a beautiful Gurdwara. We also had the opportunity to meet the President of Gurdwara Sahib and Granthi Singh Ji. We asked them about an old mound or an old fort. There was no fort but there was a small hill. Later, Gurdwara Gurusar Sahib Patshahi IX was built on the site of this hill. So, this Gurdwara of the Ninth Guru Sahib is present in the village of Rudikekalan.
Next comes the village of Kailon. Even in the village of Kalon Gurdwra Sahib remains. We visited this Gurdwara Sahib. We didn’t know much about the history here. This Gurdwara falls under the control of the Shiromani Committee. We were told by Granthi Singh Ji that there was an old mound here. You are seeing this heap today. There used to be a town here but today bones and old broken pots are coming out. It seems that the village was later deserted. Gurdwara Sahib of Patshahi IX is also present here. You call this village Kello. You are visiting Gurdwara Sahib.
Next is the village of Dhilwan. There is also a large Gurdwara in the village of Dhillwan. It is managed by the Shiromani Committee. There is a lot of land in the name of this village Dhilwan. Guru sahib ji stayed here for a few months during his preaching tour of the Malwa. Guru Sahib stopped here and not only preached but also solved the problems of the people.
People said that there was a shortage of milk as there was no water supply nearby. Due to lack of water supply, agriculture is not good. So we weren’t even animals, which didn’t produce milk. Guru Sahib first dug a well there. About 100 cows were bought by him from the Maya of Dasvandh that the more you do business and grow your family. It seems that Guru Sahib Ji donated 101 cows. This does not meet the criteria of Bani. Guru Sahib Ji had given a lot of Maya for the betterment of the people. Not only did he donate but Guru Sahib Ji continued the practice of ‘Akli Keeche Daan’. Maya was given at the place. Guru Teg Bahadur ji preached here for a few months in the village of Dhilwan. Nearby is another Gurdwara in the village of Dulmeki, called Gurdwara Dulmasar Sahib. You are visiting this Gurdwara Dulmasar Sahib. Due to lack of water here too, Guru Sahib Ji dug a well. There is another Gurdwara Sahib in the fields a short distance from Gurdwara Dulmasar called Gurdwara Datansar Sahib. We also got to know the history here. Here lives the village of Morh, Bhai Dullu, who came with Milk for Guru Teg Bahadur ji and served milk to the sangat. Guru Sahib was pleased and gave him a turban. When he went home with the turban, his wife asked him in a similar way that where do you go with milk. Bhai Dullu said that I take milk and attend the service of Guru Teg Bahadur Ji and Guru Sahib Ji has also given me a turban.
The turban given by Guru Sahib Ji was a very precious turban. Bhai Dullu’s wife snatched the turban and gave it to Marasi of the village and said to Bhai Dullu, “Do you take milk to Seva or do you go to rob the saints?” When he came to Guru Sahib’s service the next day, Guru Sahib Ji asked about the turban which was given to him yesterday. He said that the turban was snatched by my wife and given to Marasi. Guru Sahib Ji said that we wanted to make you the husband of Dulun but You have become the dulla of Dullu. We have not read this history anywhere in books. When we reached Gurdwara Datansar Sahib, there were many young men serving there. There is also an old curry tree. You are visiting this Gurdwara Datansar Sahib. There is Gurdwara Dulmasar Sahib in village Dulmeki and Gurdwara Datansar Sahib in nearby fields. In the next series 85 we will hear the next history.
