The Sikhs who lived with Guru Teg Bahadur ji had tents etc. all arranged. One had to look for water in that place. Where there was a water pond or some trees, the stage was set. Going a little farther, Guru Ji stopped at a village. When the Sikhs went there, they asked the villagers for a place to spend the night, but some of the Munnmukhs who were sitting there hinted that there was no place to stay. Next you go to the potter’s house, which is also called Prajapat. Those Sikhs came and told Guru Sahib the whole story.
When we asked the villagers to stay, they jokingly told us to go to the other side. Guru Sahib Ji said that this is what pleases God. Maybe God wants to do something else. Guru Teg Bahadur ji and the Sikhs came, turned the reins of their horses to the other side, and reached the Prajapati’s quarters. He went and honored them. These people rendered great service to Guru Sahib. They knew about Guru Sahib Ji, meaning they knew that Guru Sahib Ji and the Sikh Sangat had come. These people made their lives successful by serving Guru Sahib Ji. Guru Sahib’s family and all the Sikh sangat spent the night in the village of Pandher and connected them with the Bani. The Guru’s langar was prepared. After that Guru Sahib moved on. Today Gurdwara Sahib is adorned in the name of Ninth Patshahi Ji at village Pandher. You are visiting this Gurdwara Sahib. This is the Gurdwara Sahib which is present in the village of Pandher. From here onwards Guru Sahib Ji reaches the village of Shahpur. When our team reached the village of Shahpur, the new building of Gurdwara Sahib was being constructed. The porch of the old building (through which we go to Darbar Sahib) is also present. It may have been demolished later, but it is still standing today. When we went inside we could not find out the history of Gurdwara Sahib but a small Gurdwara Sahib is also built next to this new building. A pipal tree still exists there but it has 4 trunks protruding. Looks like 4 pipal trees. Here also Guru Teg Bahadur ji’s feet were laid. This Gurdwara has been built by the villagers. You can also visit this Gurdwara Sahib. The old porch, the small Gurdwara Sahib, the Pipple tree is present and the Gurdwara Sahib is being converted into a large building.
