When Guru Teg Bahadur ji reached Hasanpur, Kaboolpur, there lived a Sheikh, who loved Guru Teg Bahadur ji.Guru sahib Ji stayed with him for a few days. They communicated the words of God. ” Aval alah nuur upaia, kudarat ke sabh bande,
Ek nur te Sabh Jag upajia, kaun bhale ko mande “
Guru Sahib Ji also agrees that-
“Musalaman mom Dil hovai,

Meaning a Muslim should be like a wax heart. As the wax melts near the fire. In the same way, seeing someone crowded, they should melt away while sharing the pain. They should have such a soft heart. So, Guru Teg Bahadur Ji preaches Sikhism by staying at Hasanpur Kaboolpur for 3 days. Later, Guru Gobind Singh ji visited this place. Today Gurdwara Sahib Patshahi IX and X stands at this place. There is also a lease in Gurdwara Sahib. Sometimes we consider it as Hukamnama but it is kept at Gurdwara Sahib by the handwriting of an ordinary writer, which is kept by the sangat with great love and respect. There is also a well within the boundaries of this Gurdwara which is still maintained by the villagers. You are visiting this Gurdwara Sahib.

At the request of Bhai Fateh Chand, Guru Teg Bahadur ji resides in his village. They also preached in nearby villages. After entrusting Fateh Chand with the responsibility of preaching in other villages, Guru Ji goes to the next village. The Sikhism was planted by Guru Teg Bahadur ji. Later Guru Gobind Singh ji visited here on his way from Lakhnaur.
When Guru Gobind Singh Ji arrives at this place with his Sikh servants, the sangat resides at this place. There used to be a masand in this village which was a corrupt. He hid a Sikh maid who had come with Guru Gobind Singh ji, to do his own housework. When the Sikhs found out that the maid was missing. They started looking for her. She was not found. When Guru Sahib Ji was told that Guru Ji we had a servant with us, she was not been found . Guru Gobind Singh Ji was well known. Guru Ji told the Sikhs that a masand named Ghogha in this village is also not present here, what is the reason for this. You go to his house and find out. When the Sikhs fond out about Bibi (Sevadarni) from Ghogha Masand’s house, they took her to Guru Ji but Ghogha does not come with Masand. Guru Sahib said that Bhai Ghogha’s truth has been exposed. It doesn’t matter if the Ghogha comes to us now. He made a mistake, we will forgive him but the masand did not come. The Guru said that if he came and confessed his mistake before the Sikh community, he would be forgiven. The masand did not hear a single word from the Guru. When we visited this village we came to know this history from this village in which the administrators of Gurdwara Sahib Gurbachan Singh Ji and Gulzar Singh Ji, who is also the Sarpanch of the village. They also showed us the house of Ghogha Masand. The room at the back of the house where Ghogha Masand hid the Sikh Bibi (maid) still exists today. At the behest of Sarpanch Sahib, the descendants of the village masand still live outside the village. They need to be persuaded and brought back to Sikhism. They need to be explained that masand was not a bad word, but masand is a very high and pure word. The word has become infamous because of the corrupt masands who were corrupted. They can come to Sikhism. So, we will always need to bring the families of the lost people to Sikhism. Let us bring the lost families to Gursikhi. So, Gurdwara Sahib is built on this place.
