In Safar-E-Patshahi IX Series 46 we heard that Guru Teg Bahadur Ji arrives at village Ugani and preaches Sikhism
In this series we will hear that Guru Teg Bahadur Ji started his journey from Ugani and reached Bahadurgarh and settled in the palace of Nawab Saifuddin
From the village of Ugani, Guru Teg Bahadur ji reaches Saifabad. Now its name is Bahadurgarh. It is right next to Patiala. The city of Patiala had not yet been formed. Guru Teg Bahadur ji came to Saifabad and set up camp and pitched tents. You are visiting Gurdwara Bahadurgarh. As you visit, we will continue the history as well.
When we heard the history of Anandpur Sahib that Musa Ropari comes to Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji and remains Guru Teg Bahadur Ji. He was Syed Pir. It had great recognition. This Syed Peer had a very high status and was greatly influenced by Guru Teg Bahadur ji. This Syed Peer tells Nawab Saifuddin about Guru Teg Bahadur ji that Guru Teg Bahadur ji is a form of Allah. Nawab Saifuddin also had in mind that I too should go to Anandpur Sahib and pay obeisance to Guru Sahib. When he learned that Guru Teg Bahadur ji had reached Saifabad, he accompanied his family to Guru Teg Bahadur ji’s feet. Nawab Saifuddin requested that Guru Ji, you and your family would stay in my house. Nawab Saifuddin takes Mata Nanaki, Mata Gujri and Guru Teg Bahadur ji to his palace. Guru Tegh Bahadur ji is riding a horse in front and Mata Ji was coming in chariots behind. It was Nawab Saifuddin, holding the saddle of Guru Teg Bahadur ji’s horse and walking himself. He did not allow Guru Tegh Bahadur ji to dismount and took him to his palace.
Nawab Saifuddin had great devotion to the Guru sahib. Nawab Saifuddin was not an ordinary man. If we know the personality, it is clear that Nawab Saifuddin was known as Saif Khan. He was the brother of Aurangzeb’s religion, on the other hand he looked like Shah Jahan’s brother-in-law and on the third side he was a close friend of the fakir Bhikhan Shah. He had held high positions. He had also become Subedaar, governor and nawab. Today he was away from politics and was doing Bandagi of Allah in his house. It was Nawab Saifuddin, holding the saddle of Guru Sahib’s horse and walking side by side. He had placed Guru Sahib in his palace. When Guru Teg Bahadur Ji came out and saw the mosque in front of him, Guru Sahib Ji called him and talked to him, which we will hear in the next series.
